What is Ashiatsu (aka. Ashi)?
In the Japanese language “Ashi” translates to foot and “Atsu” into pressure. Ashiatsu, is a barefoot massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight that works with gravity instead of against it.

Cream or oil is applied to the clients body making this deep therapeutic massage fluid and relaxing. Parallel bars are used above the massage table for balance, support and client safety.

Who is Ashi good for? Pretty much anyone who likes a firm pressure yet a super relaxing massage. Because the pressure is deeper than a traditional massage the movements are slow and rhythmic calming your sympathetic nervous system down. You should weigh over 128 lbs and have good muscle density to your structure, and be overall healthy with no acute injured areas.
